Sport quattro successor revealed at Frankfurt Motor Show
It’s 30 years since Audi Sport quattro stunned the racing world. On this landmark anniversary Audi recently revealed a new,
powerful successor in the shape of a concept vehicle at the 2013 IAA in Frankfurt. With a system output of 700 hp and
accelerating from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, the new Sport quattro continues a tradition of driving exhilaration.

Elegance was the word du jour at the Esquire Gentleman’s Evening. Hosted by Esquire Abu Dhabi and Audi, with Brasserie Angelique
at Jumeirah Etihad Towers as backdrop, the evening offered an opportunity for VIPs to network over French-inspired cuisine.

Dubai duo second in Audi quattro Cup world final
2013 was yet another successful year for the Audi quattro Cup. Regional winners from 52 countries met at the Trump International
Golf Resort in Los Angeles for the world final. After a memorable day of sportsmanship and showmanship the Dubai duo,
Dean Cheesley and Darren King, took second place.

Audi was the proud sponsor of Rihanna’s sensational Diamonds World Tour concert in Abu Dhabi. The crowd got to see the
global singing sensation sparkle on stage as she sang her way through her repertoire of chart-topping hits.

With the recent sponsorship of Fashion Forward, Audi brought an added level of glamour, beauty and sophistication to Dubai.
A number of lucky Audi drivers had the opportunity to join glitterati from the region for exquisite runway shows, trendsetting
accessory exhibitions and insightful panel discussions by global industry experts.

Audi once again set a regional record as sales soared by an average of 20% in the first half of the year. The markets with the
highest sales volumes were the UAE followed by Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, with Lebanon showing the biggest growth at 97.8%.

Participating in the 20th anniversary of the world’s largest historic motor sport event, Audi celebrated three major milestones from
its own history of sport racing. Not only was the 1936 Auto Union Type C racing car on display, the 1983 World Rally Championship
team was there to commemorate Audi’s 1983 win. It has also been 25 years since Audi Sport took the American TransAM title with
the Audi 200 quattro.

Audi R8 named best of the best at red dot award 2013
When the jury of 37 experts from 24 countries announced their verdict, it was unanimous: among 4,600 products the Audi R8
sported the highest design quality, earning it the red dot award for product design 2013. The Audi A3 and Audi S3 continued the
winning streak as they won red dots for their high styling quality.

The dashing Audi R8 joined the star-studded cast of The Wolverine as Hugh Jackman made it his car of choice for the movie’s big
London premier. A fleet of Audi A8’s chauffeured the rest of the cast members to the top of the red carpet at the VIP event held in
Leicester Square.

With great skill and strong tactical intelligence, Audi Sport Team Joest drove the Audi R18 e-tron quattro to victory at the Texas,
USA debut of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in Austin. Not only does this mark the fifth victory for Audi in as
many WEC rounds this year, this is also the 100th overall win for an LMP sportscar from the brand with four rings.

As 70,500 spectators looked on, all eight Audi RS 5 cars racing in the Oschersleben leg of the DTM motored into the top 10. Now only
two races, Zandvoort and Hockenheim, remain with Audi drivers Mike Rockenfeller and Augusto Farfus in the running for the title.

Audi reveals new sport models at Dubai Motor Show
This year Audi once again stayed true to its racing heritage at the Dubai International Motor Show. With the launch of the new
Audi S3 Sedan, RS 6 Avant and RS 7, the company showcased its strength in transferring motorsport technology to series production.
Three-time Le Mans winner and Audi factory driver for 19 years, Rinaldo “Dindo” Capello, was present for the official reveals.
